Tech Networks of Boston (also known as TNB) is pleased to invite local employees of nonprofit organizations to a Roundtable session with Karen Graham, the new executive director of Idealware.Org.
Here’s what Karen says about this session:
“When it comes to the software that keeps your organization running, deciding on a solution is a process that shouldn’t be taken lightly. You need to spend time organizing your priorities, weighing the actual cost of software solutions, and considering the needs of all the staff members who will use your purchase. It takes a lot of work to make a smart decision, and you want to be sure whatever you choose allows you to work smarter.”
After setting the stage with some best practices from Idealware, Karen will facilitate group discussion and help you get your questions answered.
Some of the things we might talk about are:
‘Do I even need new software?’
‘What kind of process should I use for selecting software?’
‘How do I get the most out of software demos?’
‘Is this going to be expensive?’
“One question we won’t answer is, ‘Which software is the best?’ But we will point you to software reviews and resources for you to decide which solution is the best fit for YOU.”
