Strategic planning is important for all nonprofit organizations, but getting started can be difficult. This fast-paced session will explore what it takes to prepare for the strategic planning process and the different components that make up a strategic plan. We will answer questions like:
- How long does the process take?
- Do I need a consultant to lead the process?
- Do we need a planning committee?
- Who needs to be involved?
- What do we do once we have the plan?
Join us for an interactive session designed to examine what a strategic plan is, what it is not, why funders want to see that nonprofits have one, and why having a plan should be important to our boards
