Tech Networks of Boston (TNB) exists to provide integrated and managed technology services to nonprofits and other mission-based organizations, and it’s also our privilege to offer you professional development opportunities through our Roundtable series. Our featured guest at this session will be Maria Latimore, principal consultant for the Maria Latimore Group. The topic will be how nonprofits can benefit from integrating project and change management. This session will be held at Natixis Investment Offices, from 10:00am – 12:00pm on December 13, 2018.
Here’s what Maria says:
“Project management helps nonprofits to plan and deliver initiatives on time and within budget, while change management focuses on the people side to ensure that the resulting changes are adopted and adapted. This roundtable will introduce nonprofits to the benefits of integrating the two disciplines and leveraging structure, processes and tools of each to increase the likelihood of projects achieving their intended outcomes and business value.”
“This roundtable is appropriate for all nonprofit staff who are responsible for implementing projects or participate on project teams. Participants do not have to have project management or change management knowledge or experience. This roundtable will explain the best practices of each discipline and describe practical steps to begin integrating them to benefit your projects.”
