Tech Networks of Boston (also known as TNB) is pleased to invite local employees of nonprofit organizations to a Roundtable session on CiviCRM as a constituent relationship managment option. This will be a panel session, and our featured guests will be Paul Gauthier (YouthBuild USA), Cynthia Wilkerson (Little Brothers-Friends of the Elderly), and Dave Tarrant (Nubay Services).
Here is what our esteemed featured panelists say about this session:
“Among the rotating list of CRMs and donor management solutions, CiviCRMstands out as an open source CRM designed specifically for nonprofits. Learn about CiviCRM from a panel of experienced users – what they love, what they hate. Is it for you? Should it be on your evaluation list?”
Here’s a bit more about our featured guests:
Paul Gauthier is Director of digital information systems at YouthBuild USA, a national youth development nonprofit. He has worked in nonprofit technology for nearly ten years and has been using CiviCRM since 2010.
Cynthia Wilkerson joined Little Brothers-Friends of the Elderly in February 2015 as their Program Manager, which is when she became a CiviCRM user. Cynthia has worked in nonprofit program development and technology for more than 15 years, and has seen many of the challenges small organizations face when attempting to create, implement or change a data collection strategy.
Dave Tarrant is a software entrepreneur and executive. He is the founder of a nonprofit, Nubay Services, and his mission is to help nonprofits use technology. Nubay uses open source applications including Drupal and CiviCRM, which are hosted using the Amazon Web Services cloud.
Please note:
1) In keeping with the spirit of the TNB Roundtable series, this session will NOT be a sales pitch for any product or service. This will be a professional development opportunity for nonprofit professionals who want to learn with and from their peers in other organizations.
2) This session is for employees of nonprofit organizations. It is not designed to meet the needs of vendors, volunteers, students, consultants, job-seekers, and others.
3) Priority in registration will be given to those who are employed by nonprofit organizations that hold full membership in the Massachusetts Nonprofit Network.
4) Participation in this session is free of charge for nonprofit professionals. However, you must have a confirmed reservation in order to attend.
5) If this session is booked to capacity by the time you seek to register for it, please go ahead and put yourself on the waiting list. We have a good track record of finding seats for nonprofit professionals on the waiting list.
We hope that you can join us for a vigorous and informative conversation, in which you will be welcome to share your knowledge and experience with your peers.
